We stayed at the glamping campsite. Checking in was fine but they have you sign and initial multiple forms in multiple locations. When I asked the person what it was for they said just for damages but later on discovered that’s not the case. The cabins look brand new and are more spacious than the photos look however when we entered there was a really bad smell in the site. Almost like a nail polish remover that gave most guests a headache. I assumed it was simply part of their cleaning process but we had to open all the windows to remove it. Also the internet was very spotty. Fine for a campsite but not comparable to a hotel and with the tv running only on the internet and no cable it’s not really acceptable. Location is also not the greatest as it is a fairly solid drive to any restaurants or places you will visit on your stay in door county. Main attraction is the price for the rooms compared to hotels in the area… but then you realize it’s more of a spirit airlines style of deal where if you have any add ons it’s a fee. They had threatened our group with a $250 cleaning fee because the trash was left in the can and we had leftovers in the fridge, along with coffee left on the counter and dishes in the sink. At most an hour of cleaning… they then brought it down to $100 fee. With that price it became comparable to the hotels in the area so it would be advisable to stay there. In terms of amenities I would recommend bringing your own towels for showering, the beds are small and very firm. Does come with ac and heating which is nice. Minimal amount of pillows, and the covers are razor thin. Recommend bringing both of your own if you stay. Would recommend for families on a budget but would say the business practice of looking for to fine guests is incredibly frustrating.
