As someone from out of state, this is one of my favorite spots in Madison so far! It’s beautiful and a great place to have a picnic or gather around the campfire with friends. There are plenty of fire pits along the trail. As for the view, it is stunning. There’s a small beach on one side and a great view of the city on the other. Honestly, the only downside was the bugs. Highly recommend!
