It’s best to think of Loge as an upgrade to a “cabin in the woods with no electricity or plumbing.” Framed that way, you’ll be delighted to have dim Edison bulbs, TV and a climate system that could generate a lifetime of sound effects for the Star Wars franchise. But if you are hoping for a normal hotel experience, you’ll be disappointed. As others have said, this is an old motel that is aging quicker than they can repaint and hang hip art. And it is a community concept, which cuts both ways. We stopped overnight on our way from Oregon to SoCal. Was hoping for some quiet but there was a multi family group here, and their pack of kids were roaming the property, running, screaming, and jumping on beds right until 10p. At least they stopped when the quiet hours started at 10p. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and our pup enjoyed the stay — they made it comfortable for her. I’m glad we tried the LOGE but not sure we’d come back.
