I absolutely Love this place. The campsite was well maintained and the Lake was amazing. There are restrictions on motorized boats allowed on the lake. The majority of people fish from the shore or row boat. We were made aware of an issue with rattle snakes. One had been killed the day before we had gotten there and one had bit a dogs nose the week before. We didn't see any. Unfortunately it rained for most of our visit, but it was still nice. It's $15.00 a night to camp and day use is free. It's a little scary driving the mountain to the campsite and there are a few narrow spots where cars may have to back up if they meet someone on the road. I reccomend rolling down your windows to listen for oncoming vehicles so that you are prepared to pull off.
