I don’t typically do things like this however, I felt it needed addressed every year my friends and I go on an annual trip to Elkins and this year we had two babies under the age of one with us when we arrived, they informed us that none of the water could be used for anything other than simply washing your hands essentially they said it could not be ingested and that if we had to purchase water which obviously we did because we had babies that needed bottles made we had to be able to wash the bottles with non-contaminated water, so we didn’t think it was a big deal because they offered to compensate us for anything we had to purchase. Boy was I wrong …..We checked in on Friday and the splash pad was running just fine on Saturday…I found strange that it was running one day with all the children playing in it and then we received a text saying the splash pad was closed on Sunday due to “situation with well”. But Sunday afternoon after receiving that text is when I went in to ask for water reimbursement and the employee told me “the waters been fine since yesterday”. no email was ever received. She then followed up with “well I’ll give you the money since you look like you want it” I was in complete disbelief that I was doing exactly as they’d said and that’s the comment I got in return. Most people would advise their clients of the issue prior to their arrival but we were told as we checked in. And then the disrespectful comments? Below is a picture of the paper they gave me upon check in. Revelle's River Resort
