This is a free campground located in Lassen National Forest — Eagle Lake Ranger District.
5 campsites located along the Susan river. Piped water. Fire rings and picnic tables. No garbage service (pack it in, pack it out). Restroom is open May 15 - Oct 31. The campground sits at 5200’ of elevation and will likely not be accessible during winter months.
Each site was large. The campground is accessed via a dirt road.
This campground is lovely but I was extremely disappointed to see that another group was ignoring the burn ban and then left trash all over their site.
Please LEAVE NO TRACE.
