The star rating is kind of redundant but the campground is great. There is a water sticker for cool clean water, a sheltered toilet that is actually nice. Not like the ones we used overseas with a million flies, smelled like a sewage plant, and would lose 10 lbs by stepping in. It was clean and very nice. The campground has a picnic table and metal fire/cook ring in every spot. You will want to bring your own firewood though. It's not just laying around within 100 ft of camping spots. They're are walking trails everywhere and a short stroll down to the lake, or a very short drive if your not able to walk through the terrain. This campground is in the national Forrest where there is an abundance of wild critters including bears. Don't call the DNR crying, when Yogi and Smokey attacks your campsite because you left your mama's meatloaf on the table overnight. Seriously if your new to camping do some research, a fed bear is a dead bear. It's a very nice place and I hope it can stay that way.
