Awesome and secluded place to tent camp! This place gave me the "backcountry wilderness" experience that is not common on the East Coast. There was rain when I visited, but the tent pad area stayed dry and was well draining. There were BBQ grills available. For campfires, there was a personal as well as a group campfire pit area. I grabbed a $5 bundle of firewood on the road into the campsite. I liked that there was a locking gate into the campground. The host was very available via text and email. The hill from the parking area to the camping area is steep but clearly marked. Once you are down in the camp, it is a magical and quiet place! I really enjoyed looking at the night sky and hearing the wildlife along the creek. It was a good, secluded place to stay at while also visiting the town of Berkeley Springs and surrounding areas.
