Not the worst but could be a better flat water tubing experience. They really are doing the bare minimum.
We went on a Saturday so it was extra crowded. The first thing to note is that you'll be parking off road and will have to walk up a pretty large/steep hill on large gravel rocks to reach the welcome center. The center itself wasn't very large, cabin like, and only had a couple lockers for rent ($6). The toilets and changing room was small, there were only 3 girls stalls and the water at the sink was not working. It was barely a trickle and they should get that fixed ASAP!
They make you come an hour earlier to sit on the patio and watch a video (Note there is NO close captioning) and the packed patio is loud! We couldn't hear where our guide announced the pickup point/if he even did, so we just went with the flow with everyone else and got on the bus which was packed- every seat was full.
The bus drive there is a bit bumpy, but they drop you off where it's just a free for all for tubes. There is no one to check you get the right tube that you paid for, or if you have any issues. The river was pretty shallow getting in and you really have to walk out towards the center to get a slight flow. However, the current isn't very strong and will constantly push you to the shore so you really have to work to get back into the center of the river. This doesn't really make for an relaxing float. People brought coolers, drinks, snacks, speakers so bring those if you're going (they apparently don't check what you have).
For the getting out point, we passed a place with a inflatable wavey thing, and went to the second that had a sign. NOTE this is the wrong place!! You have to keep going further down to the THIRD location which is the one for this company. We got out at the second and had to walk for 5 minutes over gravel to get to the final location.
* Bathrooms small and dirty after many people used it. SINKS WERE BROKEN!
* No close captioning for video, buses are pretty cramped and no AC.
* Bare minimum workers meant no one handing you tubes, you just grab one.
* Take out point is the THIRD ONE with a sign that will say River Rivers. The bank area is flat and sandy.
I think next time I'd try one of the other tubing companies nearby.
