This campground was very quiet and nice. Even though it was in the 90's during the day, it got nice and cool during the night. I'm sure it helps being right by the Klamath river.
At the time we were there, the blackberry bushes were in full bloom and boy-oh-boy were they delicious!
Part of the reason I gave 4 stars is that the dedicated walking paths were completely overgrown and just dead-ended at one point. One thing that was super weird about the walking path was that after the dead end and going back to an alternate path it literally puts you to someone's private drive!! You look to your right and there's a gate with a sign on it that says "GO AWAY" with another sign saying, "Private Property". So that was weird.
Battle pit toilets were clean which was nice.
Then of course the river is running right by the campsite, so you can hear it running at night.
