The park was easy to find but it is located about 10 miles from I 5. There is pavement all the way including in the park. Signage is adequate. Check in was friendly but took an unexpected turn. We had booked our site prior to our arrival. We were allotted site 1. The telephone attended noted that it would be long enough to suit our needs. We were informed by the Camp Host that they had given away site 1 and we would have to search another one that would fit our rig. Just an FYI, we are not all that long. Our coach is a short 28 feet. At first, we didn’t think it would be that big of a deal until we discovered that the sites were still snow covered and not all that easy to see how long they were. Plus, we really didn’t like the idea of us doing their leg work. We are not familiar with the park. After a long drive, all we wanted to do was set up and sit back. We were told site 6 might be vacant and we should fit so we decided to just take it. After disconnecting our Jeep and backing into the site we thought it was NOT a long site. We were as far back as we thought we should go. Any further looked like we might be on dirt. We stayed where we were as we were not going to walk the park looking for a longer site. We just parked our towed on the street (with the approval of the host). This was not a good start to our stay. The next morning we found that site 6 would have been long enough. What we thought was dirt was just snow covered ice.

Our site, 06, was a back in that was just long enough for our Coach but not the Towed in it’s present condition.. Services (30 amp and water) were to the left side. We discovered the water was not available as the plumbing is not heated. This park is advertised as being year round. The lack of water should have been advertised and the price reduced for off season. Distancing is close and there is no vegetation barrier for privacy. Each site has a table and a fire pit. Our site was flat but had severe slope to the front. When the coach was leveled the front wheels were off the ground. This makes for a high first step into the motor home. We did not use the washroom so can not comment on it;s condition.

We found this park to be a poorly operated urban RV park. Being advertised as year round, the roads and sites should have been plowed. No water available should have been advertised. The Camp Host should not be allowed to give away booked sites on a whim. We paid $35.00 per night and we feel we received very poor value. We will not be back.

Edited review October 2023

There just isn’t a whole lot of options for RV Parks in the area. We found ourselves here again. Not much has changed since we were last here two years ago except this time it wasn’t snow covered and the Park Host was exceptionally good. Our site,10, was a back in that was just long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30 amp and water) were to the left side. Distancing is close and there is no vegetation barrier for privacy. Each site has a table and a fire pit. Our site was flat and even. We did not use the washroom so can not comment on its condition.

We found this park to be a very well operated urban RV park. We paid $40.00 per night and we feel we received very Good value. We will be back if in the area again.
