Awesome place!

The staff is super friendly. Told them I was disabled and they gave me an access pass where I can get into every national park for free admission and if I want to camp I get 1/2 off the price.

Campsites are truly awesome with huge trees and lots of trails and wildlife. Very Quiet. Almost too quiet.

Can’t have camp fires most of the time like back in the day.so it doesn’t compare to todays meaning of camping.

The best part of camping was sleeping in a tent and roasting marshmallows hearing the campfires in each site crackle. Today you don’t hear a peep. Everyone’s sleeping in their luxurious rv watching tv . Other then missing those days , heart of the hills is gonna be the closest thing to it that you’ll find. The restrooms are always immaculate clean as well.
