7/12/23 - 3 nights of RV camping with kids ages 6-9 and the dog. This state park is easy to find, access, and exit. It has the standard hours of WA parks. Check-in is 2 pm. Lots of spacious tent and RV sites plus numerous cabins.

Two creeks run through the park and are accessible to kids etc. The best RV camping area, by far, is the beach loop. Be aware of where you reserve your site. A few dozen of the sites border a primary road for this area. It is busy and noisy with heavy trucks, motorcycles, emergency vehicles, etc.

There's a popular playground near the main entrance and visible from the road. It requires a Discovery Pass.

There's an espresso/coffee hut directly across from the park entrance.

There are multiple restroom buildings and shower facilities. All of these are fully handicapped accessible.
