Ok, folks, before you rent this cabin you better know what you are getting into. First, at least when I visited in 2018, there was no running water. You have to get water from the well outside like old timers. However, the gas stove works, the fridge works (!), And the gas lamps work. You are dealing with a truly rustic cabin experience. Adjust your expectations and you will be much happier. I took out one star because I was told there was running water.
That said, however, the trails near the cabin are top notch. The environment is quiet and almost tranquil. Ranger fishing hole is fantastic for fishing.
