Great place to get away. Easy to get to from tacoma/Seattle but far from it all. Would not recommend to families with little babies. There are mouse traps and poison around the cabin that could easily be reached my little hands. Older kiddos would know not to touch. Lots of space and functional furniture. Games and puzzles in hutch were great to play in evenings. Bring lots of extra lights.
Only downside we experienced was the bathroom had no lock. It's located at the trailhead and next to the cabin. On weekends there is steady flow to hikers. We used the buddy system when using.
