Staying at the Lake Quinault Lodge was like stepping back in time (in a really great way). It's full of historic charm. Set along Lake Quinault, in Olympic National Forest, the lodge has a cozy, secluded feel, while not actually being that far from the main road (and there's actually a gas station nearby). The attached restaurant is phenomenal - and was open until 9pm, which was great for a trio of travellers not rolling in until 7:30pm. The beds are comfortable, the staff is helpful. This would be a good place for a group trip or family reunion.
