We camped in one of the larger sites, with tents last week right at opening. This campground is more geared towards RVs etc.
The bathrooms are clean, but very few and far between. Showers were locked, and no water spigots were turned on. Lots of accessible garbage cans that are checked daily by friendly staff!
Tent camping was a 4/5 due to limited bathrooms and lack of easily accessed running water. Would be an easy 5/5 for an RV or trailer!
The tent sites look good if you don’t mind camping tent to tent with strangers.
There is some logging truck noise early morning from the road leading across the river but nothing overbearing at all.
It’s a big campsite with lots of gorgeous trees! River views are beautiful. Long parking pads for a variety of RVs, campers and fifth wheels. Make sure you check the dimensions of your site before choosing online; some have very limited space!
We spotted fresh big cat tracks at the Goat Creek bridge off of the logging road to the left, over the fishing bridge.
Don’t forget to pick up after yourselves; lots of little micro-trash we picked up out of our site and the ones next to us (fake nails, broken cooler latches, plastic string, bits of candy wrappers etc).
