Spent Memorial weekend at the camp ground.

Let's start with the good

The grounds are super clean, they do ask that you recycle and they have plenty of cans all around the property. You are in the middle of no where which is fantastic, plan to have no cell service or internet (the way camping should be). The owners are more than accommodating as much as they can be. There are plenty of RV/Camper sites with full hook ups, partial (water and electric only) and more than enough dry camp / tent areas. You will have plenty of scenery to enjoy. If you are lucky you will get to see deer and elk walk through properties up the road.

The pricing is more than fair, they do have the ability to use credit/debit cards along with cash.

They do offer fire wood, a wheel burrow full for 10 bucks that's a great deal and it burns well.

The staff and other campers are all very friendly and it seems everyone abided by the quiet hours.

great place for the kids to play and make new friends!

The Bad-

The rv/camper spots are set up a little funky so make sure you are skilled in backing up, the owners and staff will help guide you.

They say on their website that there is fishing available on the property in their pond but that's no longer true. The owners decided years ago to no longer stalk their pond with fish, but the kids can take some of the provided nets to catch frogs and tad poles, do not let kids/animals swim in the pond as it's filled with algae.

For fishing there's a few close places within 20 miles or more unless the yellow jacket creek's flow has slowed down that's not a safe area either.

There are private properties around and many people came to camp on those while also brining their dirt bikes to ride around, other than that noise it's super quiet. They do stop riding once it starts to get darker. They don't typically start again until after 11 am. The riders are respectful such as not trying to run you off the road, they do follow the rules of the road and riding they were very safe while my family was there.

It is a ways into the forest area so plan ahead for a drive, but it's a gorgeous drive.
