The campground is first come first serve. It’s a $20 camping fee with $10 for an extra vehicle (10/day for extra vehicle). Cash only. There are bathrooms and a dumpster for trash. Mostly boaters and rv’ers take up a lot of the sites by Friday. They do have $10 day use camping areas for a nice picnic.
In general there were families enjoying their time there. But this is a very congested area now. It was packed to the brim by Friday night. All night we heard loud music, dogs barking, car alarms going off and people yelling. It was like being in the ghetto with no amenities lol. I’m sure none of the families with children enjoyed this. But we all suffered through it. We left early because this to me is just not camping.
The river was dangerously low when we went. And there was quite a bit of algae growing. The woods were dry so be careful with your fire and follow the local laws.
If you are from another state and are used to more remote camping this will be a hard transition. Otherwise welcome to WA campgrounds. Crowded and noisy.
