Awesome campsite with amazing views. I have stayed here on two occasions...both on hikes of the Northern Loop trail, and both early-season hikes. There are incredible views from Windy Gap as you descend into the Yellowstone Cliffs area. I recommend having your dinner and breakfast near the bear pole....as the best views can be had near there. Be on the lookout for bald eagles near the cliffs!
