This park has on the Green River and the smell of fish in certain areas would tell me, it's a great spot for fishing. I had a grey heron fly over me and land on a tree, so I stared at it for awhile to see if it would fly off and I could get a pic of the wings spread, but no such luck. I love all the mossy trees and of course Fall colors in the trees. Nolte State Park and Green River Gorge State Park are not far if you want to spend a day visiting a few State Parks.
