Near Tombstone and its many attractions: It's a scenic, easy, no-frills spot to pull off and rest, hike down to the San Pedro River, snap pictures, and, of course, bird watch. History: According to the Battle of the Bulls website linked on the site's Google listing, on December 11, 1846, the Mormon Battalion battled charging wild bulls near here on their trek northward along the river from Mexico.
