I used to go here a few times a year every year growing up. They had tons of activities for the kids to do and things were clean and kept up nicely. That is not the case any more. Although some of the bathrooms have been updated with new counters and hands-free dispensers, they don’t look like they have been deep-cleaned in years. There are no lights around the campground at night, so going to the bathroom can be quite scary. There are many bears around the area, too, we were told. The pool was clean and nice, but those bathrooms and showers are dilapidated and look like they did when I was a kid 30+ years ago. The roads are extremely dry and dusty and there are yellow jackets and mosquitoes everywhere, so eating outside was out of the question. The sites are not great, but we did finally find one that would work for our little 19’ trailer without sewer connection. There is no cell reception in most of the main park, but the lodge does have WiFi. It was not bad for an overnight stop, but glamping it is not.
