The gatehouse staff are friendly and welcoming. This is an older campground with blackberry bushes growing throughout the park, scratching you as you walk down the narrow roadways and crowding the already small campsites. The campsites are not level and fill with giant puddles when it rains. Lots of fulltimers taking up all the sewer and view spots. They don't assign campsites so after you pay for your stay you have to drive around the park hoping you can find a site that fits your rig. For us, this process took longer than the drive to the campground. The sewer smell permeates throughout the campground through many uncapped cisterns. The view from the beach is great.
