Stayed there one night and it was a wonderful cozy spot for our group of 8. It’s not a very large campground, and being inside the forest (as opposed to being on the beach), you can’t quite spread out too wide.
That night, there was a work crew occupying most of the campground, but luckily we found a big enough space for our 4 tents. There was also a nice spot with 3 logs that was perfect for a largish campfire, not to mention the sunset viewpoint at the edge of the campground.
It’s also conveniently close to the creek, so you don’t have to go to far to fill up, and a lovely half-open outhouse, that makes going in the forest fairly pleasant. Almost as if you’re doing it outdoors, among trees and ferns.
