Camped here early last October and loved my stay! The hosts (I believe it was Rachel and her husband Don) were so friendly and went above and beyond. I called before getting there asking where I could get some fresh caught salmon in town and they actually called around and found a restaurant for me that had it that night, and it didn’t disappoint! They also came and checked on me (in a non-invasive way) once while I was unpacking and once in the (late) morning, which was nice because I was solo. I reserved a few days in advance but ended up having the place almost to myself because of the season. I had site 12 I believe, which was right on the river and even though it was technically walk-up, it was only like 50 feet away and they had a wheelbarrow. It was well cleared but also private enough that even if the campground was full it wouldn’t have felt that way. There were plenty of other nice and personalized touches too like the dish washing station, info board, firewood, lighted pathways, and clean porta potties. No running water but I knew in advance and brought 5 gallons so it wasn’t a big deal.

Overall, you can tell that the hosts put a lot of love into this place. And the location is great, as it’s close to forks (enough that I even had some LTE with T-Mobile), riverfront, and in a beautiful forest. There’s a cool hatchery just up the street too. I almost regret telling people about this place but the hosts deserve the business and I can’t wait to stay here again!

Pro tip: walk barefoot when you’re not on the gravel. Don told me to do this and it was really cool, the ground almost felt spongy.
