There has been a huge decline in service and cleanliness since I first visited Sunset Beach Hotel a few years ago. I called about 6 times before we arrived and no one answered the phones. They also didn’t answer the phone when we were staying there either. I needed linens for our pull out couch and it took talking to 4 people over the course of 3 days to get them. We had no shower curtain so that made it difficult to hang up wet clothing and towels. The whole experience was not good. I love the location and it is my favorite place to vacation but next time I plan to stay in a cottage.
