Watch for moose along the trail and near the lakes. The earlier you start the hike the better and you will have a better parking spot at the trailhead.
Restrooms at the parking lot are a great luxury. Earlier morning you can get better photos with less people around and possibly see more wildlife. I started on the trail at 6am and was able to watch the sunrise while the moose were swimming across the water.
