Beautiful tinny reservoir. Warm water in August-September when we went. Very tiny. Great for paddle boarding, cliff jumping, etc. but I wouldn't recommend draging a boat there. Its tinny and very few to no beaches. you can access it from the Marina or a few other dirt roads, but with a long walk to the beach. The campsite hosts and DNR people there are super wonderful, happy, amazing people. I don't like people. But I really liked everyone I meet and talked too. We don't usually do parking lot camping. But it was still a lot of fun. If you could somehow camp on near the lake I would give it 5 stars. But lake access is not great. Lack of beaches further complicated that. However it's also part of what made it so amazingly beautiful
