We had a great time at Rendezvous Beach, on the northside of beautiful Bear Lake. This is the perfect beachy area you want. The tepid water is about 100 feet from the beach area, creating lots of room on the sandy shore for shade tents, playing in the sand, looking for seashells or volleyball. There are covered pavilions, however, I think you have to call and reserve them. There some tables and the men’s and women’s bathrooms are a short walk away. We were able to walk out pretty far before the lake goes over a five or six-year-olds head. We were on the east side of the beach while the rental shack is on the western side, (where most beach goers go). We went on a Friday and almost had the beach to ourselves. A one day pass was around $20 per car. We love it and always return.
I gave 4 out of stars due to lack of shade, minimal parking and debris on the shore line.
