We went here for our family reunion the July before the fires. It was a beautiful spot with great views. There was almost no one in our loop other than our large group of 30. There are flushing toilets and paved roads and not much else. It seemed like every fourth tree was brown and dead but I'm sure the fires in 2018 took care of all of those. We went hiking at the grotto nearby and mountain biking on some trails down the canyon. It was a good place to group camp but probably won't be for the next 12 years when trees begin to grow back.
