Great scenic spot. The cottonwoods add much needed shade to the group camp ground on the Green River. The flushing toilets where in operation and cleaned daily.
The red ants are everywhere be prepared if you are ground camping. The ground vegetation disappears about mid may and the daily wind cycle will give you a sandblasted experience.
All in all the river and the scenery makes it worth it but be prepared for the ants and the sand
