We first discovered this place abiut 10 years ago. Just about 2 hours outside of Salt Lake is this little paradise in the desert. You're driving down a desert road, go up a small hill, and come down into a little oasis. Amenities are great without ruining the camping experience. Heated restrooms and shower (important when it's like 38 degrees out on a spring night), a "lodge" with 8-10 rooms, and plenty of TV and tent camping available. There's a small river, with a creek joining it, and they've even added a small swimming hole. For events, they do have an event tent with TVs and projectors, but it's even pretty subtle in its own way, so you still feel like you're camping.
Camp hosts were amazing and welcoming, as were the folks that help out when the hosts are away from the camp. There is nothing about this place that I would change.
