Senior All Access is $7. Bring your water. The wells are dry. Fill your water containers at the Bryce Canyon Visitor Center. There are two water dispensers: one just inside the building entrance by the bathrooms and the other to the right before entering the building. Coyote Hollow has a clean pit toilet. Four beautiful and spacious sites are situated in a pine forest, part of Dixie National Forest, with views of distant canyons. Picnic Tables. Fire rings. Quiet except for the birds and the wind whispering through the pines. Minimal light pollution. No highway traffic noise, with one exception. Kicked up every hour or so during the day by other campers' vehicles, a dusty road runs through the campground. Your vehicle and whatever is exposed will be dusty too. Good cell signal. Every site has lots of sun for solar and shade to stay cool. This is an equestrian campground. Even so, anyone can camp here. However, there may be one challenge people may find unacceptable - horse poop. I set up a screened shelter for changing, showering, and hanging out and admiring the views away from pesky bees and flies. Although the sites are otherwise well-maintained, finding a cleared and level spot without manure proved difficult. I had to rake dried horse poop, but it wasn't as bad as it might sound to some. And the space was entirely level. Yes, there is a faint odor of equine leavings. Note that I camped there in May 2021 when the highs were mid-seventies and the lows in the mid-thirties. The smell may be worse when the weather is hot. I would stay there again if water were more accessible.
