A nice and affordable campsite with a great view - CG 114 ($20 & park pass required) is right next to the water station and restrooms. You can hear the lake from this spot - it‘s beautiful. Be aware that there is no shade and half the campground is still closed due to rehabilitation work. Restrooms could be cleaner; the locks in the men‘s restrooms aren‘t closing properly and there is no way to dry off your hands.
Rangers are very nice and helpful, just like anyone in / near Springdale.
Campfires are allowed!
