It's a KOA, so you already know what kind of general facilities they have/should have if you've ever used a KOA. This review is keeping that in mind.
1. Of the 3 shower stalls, one was in a state of disrepair, and didn't even have a bench for changing, etc.
2. We stayed in a cabin. They threw a small heater in there that didn't keep it warm. At all. I hope you packed some heavy blankets or plan on a trip to buy some.
3. Nobody was available at the office, so it was never open, except in the morning and evening during check in & check out.
4. The lady at night/check in was friendly, the lady in the morning/check out was rude.
Next time I'm staying in Amarillo I'm staying somewhere else. There are other, better places to stay, that are cheaper. And pretty close to this KOA.
Also - I hope you like hearing trains. All night.
