This was a wonderful place to stop and camp for a few days. There are hiking trails, an auto tour, and a camping area that has spacious campsites, picnic tables, pit toilets, and a dumpster.
There aren't many animals .. coyotes can be heard at night and a lot of birds, but it is a very peaceful, well maintained refuge with a very friendly staff. The cost is only $2 per night to camp. It's absolutely worth it !
