First off we enjoyed our time at the arizonian. Not really because of the resort itself, because we really don't use the amenities. But just because we had recently sold our home in 2020 and became brand new rv'ers. We own a vintage rv. It's in excellent condition. When we first called the park Diane the park manager was very friendly and helpful. There was NO 10 year rule. Obviously ours was 25 years old. Also we are not 55. But we've seen people way younger stay there. We are in our 50s though. We stayed 6 months. Cost us 3500.00. We left no issues. We then stayed again for 5 months during the summer from June to November again paid 3600.00. Btw, we paid everything up front. There were some issues second time. Managers dog got loose and even though she was responsible, she was yelling at our friends because they grabbed the dog for safety issues. We also had a neighbors dog loose and on our steps. We lost power 3 times staying in the park. One time because their transformer was bad. We weren't notified that we were going to be without power. They also messed up our mail and was forwarding it to Michigan. Even though we informed the manager of the new one. We stayed again at the arizonian for a couple months this year. Just 4 months ago. Everything was OK accept loose dogs again. We have dogs so we love dogs. But it was upsetting our dogs to have dogs come after them in their own space. Not loose by accident mind you just people not obeying the leash rule. Our biggest complaint is this September we wanted to stay again and Jodi the manager said we couldn't because of a 10 year rule. She didn't say it was " new" she said they were now enforcing it. Said the " main" office was making them. There is NO main office. Mind you Jodi was the one with the loose dog that yelled at my husband. And we just stayed here 4 months ago but yet all the sudden we're not good enough to stay here? Its wrong what they did. We'll never go back to this park even if we had a newer rv. People who live there are great. Management is not. We just wanted to stay a month.. not move in. There are older homes and even people staying in converted horse trailers. Our rv should not have been discriminated against.
