I recently took my kids at the end of January. The water was clear and we went during low tide. We found so many whole sand dollars and other huge clam shells. Since it was low tide, we explored the tide pools and saw some cool sea anemone. Even saw a puffer fish. This has easily become my new favorite beach.

We went tent camping at the end of the year with the kids and our dogs, and that was also perfect. They lend out Jr. Ranger backpacks with tons of things to help explore the park like binoculars and info cards.

The park staff, both seasonal and regular have always been friendly and helpful.
