Very disappointing. It's obvious the only thing they care about here is the golf course.
We just moved to Sinton and we were excited to check out this large park and it's hiking trails. Several sites said the park is 1,200 acres with 11 miles of trails. Which we quickly found is not true. When we got there we spent 20 minutes driving in circles trying to figure out where the trails are. Nothing is marked. I had to use Google earth and other reviews to guess where the trails were (Park behind the gate to the horse area and go under the gate to the left of the area and walk back. You'll find a concrete sidewalk with grass grown over it). The "trails" are a few over grown mowed paths and a dilapidated concrete path. The concrete trail takes you around a pond with a broken/falling apart pier and ends at a massive trash pile.. there is probably only 1.5 miles of trails if you add the paths together.
There are TONS of maintenance workers all over the park yet the hiking trails are not taken care of at all. It is a very small part of the park and would take little effort to maintain. Looks like they probably only mow it once a month.
On the plus, side no one is on the trails and it was a peaceful private walk with my dogs.
