Always pleased with our stays on government land. This is part of Amistad National Recreation Area. This campground is not free, but prices are low. $3 for Senior Passholders, and $6 for everyone else. Unfortunately, the water table is very low. At the boat ramp, you could put in a canoe or kayak, but I wouldn't recommend a motor boat.
