We called ahead to reserve a tour for our time of arrival. Tours happen every hour. We checked in at the gift shop and looked around at all the wonderful gems and trinkets you can find there.
Our tour guide Amy was great! She was everything you want when you take a guided tour. Knowledgeable, thorough, and fun. She walked us through the history of the cave and pointed out a bunch of notable aspects of this quarter mile 8 store deep cave system.
Well worth the roughly 40 min drive from San Antonio.
