September 2019 I stopped here before heading south on the Apache Trail. It had been 10 years since the last time I visited. There's a restroom on site. Well, it's more like an outhouse but it's better than nothing. Make sure to use it if you need to go. Otherwise you'll have to wait until Tortilla Flats 45 min to an hour away. There's scenic views of the dam and a nice place to take it easy before heading back on the road.
