This hikers campsite is a very large open grassy area with at least two pad sites. Less than half a mile away is the double lake camp ground that has showers and bathrooms. There is a creek very close by that you can filter water from. It almost always had some running water in it. From this location it is about 4 miles to the the Big Creek Trailhead.
