Small intimate state park. 8 full hook up sites that are relatively level. They contain fire pits, grills and tables. They also have shelters and primitive camping. Very well maintained. We were at site 3 directly across from the bathroom and shower. Older but very nice. The hiking trails are more difficult in my opinion than the map states. Bosque says it is challenging on the map but I felt it was difficult, Shinnery was moderate on the map but was challenging etc. Even the one rated easy was moderate. Be prepared with hiking boots and a walking stick as the paths have loose limestone and slippery limestone rock to walk over. You may also have to drive to trail heads. We did all four trails and definitely worth the effort. It is just beautiful. Great camping experience as well as a wonderful staff.
