A friend of mine recently moved from this place, and has been having a really horrible time getting her deposit back, simply because she moved her RV to another park. She needed lower rent and a location closer to where she needed to be, but still paid an entire month's rent, even though she moved her RV to the new location prior to making the rent payment. Management here told her that she would get her deposit back in 6 weeks, only to have 6 weeks come and go and now she is told that she will not get her deposit back because she moved her RV and did not give them enough notice. The space was paid for before she moved her RV and they are still withholding her deposit which was explained that it would be returned when she moved. Funny they can take the money out of your account immediately but use their convenience to give you your money back, or not. This property also just changed management and she was harassed and threatened by the previous manager several times and that in itself is an excusable and is grounds for her getting her deposit back regardless of giving notice a couple of days late, especially when she paid for the month and wouldn't even be there. They could have rented the space to somebody else that month and literally made twice the money on one space, but instead they're withholding her deposit and she is disabled and very low income. I would definitely consider this as a possibility before moving here. I didn't give them one star because the place is a very nice location and very quiet at night but the way that they are treating a disabled woman is beyond disrespectful. She moved her RV when she had the opportunity and the help to do it. Her little car cannot haul an RV so when help was available she had to act then. This place could be a little bit more understanding but instead their money hungry is how it seems to me. I don't recommend any place that does this to somebody. Policies can be broken with certain exceptions especially by the ownership.
