Went there to check out the place while visiting Waco on a day trip. Had to drive over a bridge to get there and the view of the lake was nice on both sides. Doesn’t look like there’s much out there, but it does look like a nice place to go camping or having a family picnic (plenty of covered canopies with picnic tables), and the view of the lake from there looks beautiful. This place was infamous back then for being the site of the Lake Waco murders in July 1982, as described in the book Careless Whispers by Carlton Stowers.
