This place has potential to be a REALLY nice park if they'd fix some of the issues.
First, to start with some good, the breakfast is tasty and the ladies who cook are very sweet. The majority of the office staff as well as LaDonna are nice as well.
The amenities, if they're ever fully available would be nice. But keep in mind travelers, the fitness center is being remodeled until "sometime in 2024". The one clubhouse is open but the other is closed (and gross). The dog park is nice but watch for holes, the number of times i nearly broke my ankle! The covered spots with pads would be ok if they were leveled out... even putting some gravel down so that at least you aren't tripping on the pad would help. The trail could be nice if, again, they'd lay some gravel or mulch but it turns into a mud pit any time it rains. And they gloat about having spent over a million dollars on the park but I can't see where.
Some things have been a CONSTANT issue since I moved in. For example, water issues are never ending. Expect weekly water pressure issues if not more. During the last cold weather snap the park lost water pressure for over a week before they FINALLY decided to call in a professional and replace the tank. Then a few days later pressure dropped again! The internet is also really iffy and I really struggled with trying to go to school because I couldn't keep a constant connection.
Know that during cold snaps they WILL close those handy public showers so fill your fresh tank and stock up ok bottled water just in case. When asked why they closed em, I was told "just in case, we dont want the pipes to freeze" when I told them I understood that but there were at least a couple showers on an inside wall that wouldn't freeze that could remain open wasn't given a response. yet they were still closed a few days after the cold weather when Temps were back in the 60's and 70's. And when I say closed I mean the building was locked. You can't get in.
The icing on the cake for me was them sending out a notice increasing rates $30 a month in the middle of the cold snap. So, I don't get water, or a shower. The amenities aren't usable. But you're raising my rates because expenses have gone up? What expenses? That was another question i asked that was ignored.
Oh and you already pay your own electric. So I don't know how the price increases (I was there 6 months and I heard there was another increase right before I moved in) are justifiable. I've asked how to get ahold of the park owner with my many questions but I was never given a response.
Staying here you will get regular passive aggressive emails that may or may not apply to you because instead of approaching trouble makers individually they prefer to make everyone feel bad about themselves.
Oh and if you work overnights don't bother, they close everything (showers, laundry, clubhouse, pool) all down by 10pm. So if you typically sleep during the day and handle your business at night you might as well go elsewhere. and it's all VERY noisy during the day.
It has potential but it's not worth the $700+ a month you're going to spend when there are other parks in the area that charge $500 a month electric included.
