Remember, you get what you pay for and the pictures make it look nicer than it is. I’m still here. I typically don’t review, but take note. This is all gravel. Mostly not level and the road has huge washout. It’s on a hill…not sure what they thought would happen. You can get your tractor to cover it, but next hard rain it’s back. Since we have been here the electric has gone out twice without warning to be worked on and once with warning. Just notified the water is going out. It looked like someone took a few acres, put in gravel pad and started renting it out. Very small trees, new playground but poorly located…in the back just before a steep hill. Dog park is in the front corner, small for larger dogs, and the trash dumpster are up front but the camper next to it has two large dogs “chained” to I believe was the picnic table and not monitored. The one dogs chain came to the across to the dumpster entrance and he stood there barking so we could not get to the dumpsters until the owner came out to retrieve them…telling me they don’t bite. I leave Monday and will be happy to not visit again. FYI…I made these reservations by mistake thinking this was the RV park in Waxahachie with a simulator name. Called them immediately to cancel and explain my mistake…they said if I do because it was 2 days out, I would lose all my money. That even after explaining that this was because my husband had a VA appt and that was why we wanted the Waxahachie park. The Pro to this park is that it is quiet. Most of the folks seem to be long term workers. When you are full time RVer you have your crazy RV park stories…this is ours. I probably would not have rated it had it not been for the electric and water issue…we gave the ability to boondock, but there are a lot here who are at their mercy when the electricity goes out in the heat of day.
