Overall, a nice, relatively small state park. If you live in the area, it's a great place to get a little nature it. I personally like visiting state parks to get a little solitude and escape the sounds of civilization. I couldn't really do that here, as during my hike I could usually hear cars. Also, from what I can tell, the park is surrounded by private property. There were wire fences around the parameter, which made it clear where the boundaries of the park ended and where civilization begins. That being said, the middle of the park, where the lake is, was very pretty. The park is worth a visit. Just a little less secluded than I prefer.
